Privacy Policy

Lux Wealth Group · Last updated: 7 May 2026

This privacy policy covers Lux Time, the Chrome extension published by Lux Wealth Group (ABN 94 281 418 234). It describes exactly what data the extension collects, what it sends to our servers, and what it does not.

Plain-English summary: Lux Time injects your local time into Claude prompts on claude.ai. Your prompts, replies, chat history, alarms, timers, and laps stay on your device — we never see them. We do contact our license server (Supabase) at three specific moments to enforce the 2-device limit on your licence — see "What we send to our license server" below.

1. What stays on your device

The following data is generated, stored, and used only on your device. None of it is transmitted to Lux Wealth Group, Supabase, or any third party.

2. What we send to our license server

To enforce the 2-device-per-licence limit, the extension contacts our backend hosted on Supabase (fqnsmqzznmouzcotpjxs.supabase.co) in three specific situations only:

WhenWhat we sendWhy
You activate a key Licence key, email, a random device ID generated locally on first install, your browser's User-Agent string To verify the key is valid, the email matches the email used at checkout, and you have not already activated 2 devices
Every 7 days (background heartbeat) Licence key, random device ID To confirm your key has not been revoked and your device slot is still bound
You click "Deactivate this device" Licence key, email, random device ID To free a slot so you can use your key on another device

Your IP address is incidentally visible to our Supabase server during these requests, as with any HTTP connection. We do not log or store your IP address beyond what Supabase retains in its infrastructure logs (typically 7 days for diagnostic purposes — see Supabase's privacy policy).

3. What we do NOT do

4. The "device ID" we generate

On first install, Lux Time generates a random UUID (e.g. 3f8c4e2a-...-9d1b) using your browser's built-in crypto.randomUUID() function. This UUID is stored in your browser's local extension storage and is sent to our license server alongside your licence key during activation, heartbeat, and deactivation.

This UUID is not derived from any of your device's properties, identifiers, hardware, network, or personal information. It exists only to distinguish "device A" from "device B" for the 2-device limit. If you uninstall and reinstall the extension, a new UUID is generated.

5. Email address

The email you provide at activation is matched against the email you used to purchase the licence (via Stripe). It is stored in our Supabase database alongside your licence key. We use this email only to:

We do not add you to any marketing list. We do not share your email with third parties.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Lux Wealth Group does not see, store, or transmit your credit card details. Stripe shares your payment email and a transaction ID with us, which we use to issue your licence key.

7. Data retention & deletion

Your licence record (key, email, device IDs) is retained while your licence is active. If you wish to permanently delete your data, email support@luxwealthgroup.com.au and we will delete your record within 30 days. Note that this revokes your licence — you will lose access to the extension's paid features.

8. Children's privacy

Lux Time is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that materially expands our data collection, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify existing licence holders by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
